Nealis Wedding

Well after a day of shooting another wonderful wedding was captured on film electronic media. It was a wedding of a friend of mine so not only did I have the chance to shoot her wedding but also see many friends that i haven’t seen in a number of years. This wedding was rather atypical in its procedure as the groom saw the bride way earlier than usual but it was all the way she wanted and that is what is important. I had a wonderful time, it was busy, sweaty, and pretty hot wherever i went, but i pushed through it as it is very important. The ban/ineffectiveness of flash photography at the church lead to a few soft pictures but you work with what you can. All in all the church was relatively dark despite huge stained glass windows, and the 1st reception’s ceiling in it design did not allow for flash bouncing, but I got through it. I would like to Congratulate Mr./Mrs. Chris Nealis and wish them the best.

Thanks for stopping by, so you might wonder what a photographer would be doing making a blog…… Well i guess i am taking a cue from David Hobby himself and trying to bring what im doing to the web and let you know about it, and also hear from you. Throughout the next few days I will be getting things started here and feel free to send me an email with questions to help me see what it is that you are wanting to hear, see, and learn.

Also if you are just too impatient to wait for my information I do highly recommend you check out Strobist for basic lighting information and some insight into what equipment you should have before you get too carried away into the world of capturing light.
